<image:caption>Exploring Productivity in Virtual Reality with Reach: Research, Usability Testing, and Prototyping The “Reach” VR app aims to improve physical rehabilitation by providing innovative and enjoyable exercise experiences. However, it faces accessibility and usability issues. Specifically, the absence of progress-tracking mechanisms in some games can make exercises feel repetitive and monotonous, diminishing user interest and participation. Our case study focuses on redesigning the first level of the “Reach” VR game, known as the “Firefly Assessment.” By introducing a new scoreboard feature that visually tracks the number of fireflies caught, we aim to make the game more interactive and provide immediate feedback, enhancing user engagement and satisfaction.</image:caption>

The project aims to use VR technology in order to create a more intuitive, hands on version of Fruit Ninja. By combining classic gameplay mechanics with innovative VR features, Slashing Savant offers users the ability to slice fruits, nuts, and bombs in a VR environment, not just with one hand, but with both!</image:caption>
